A Social Gathering & Live Auction

Dear Parents,

I would like to thank everyone who made the 2008 school social/auction a huge success.  Many contributed items for the auction, others donated their time assisting with the planning of the event and a great number of you showed your support by attending the event.  Your outstanding efforts allowed us to raise $57,900 for our school’s needs. 

With the funds raised, Mr. DiPippa plans to have activboards installed over the summer in both of the fourth and sixth grade classrooms.  New computers to support the activboards will be installed as well.  We will also be able to upgrade the sound system for the stage, which will allow for improved acoustic for school plays and productions.  Some of the money raised will also go towards the long-awaited purchase of a new school sign. 

I hope that all who attended the social/auction enjoyed the new venue.  Holding the event at a location other than the school gym made for minimal set-up and clean-up, and allowed us to focus on other aspects of the event. 

I am constantly amazed by the generosity of our school families.  Whether it is in the form of the donation of time and talents or financial support, the support is greatly appreciated.  My sincere thanks to you all for all you have done, and I continue to be very proud to the PTO President of such a wonderful school.
