Tuition (2010-2011)

SAINT LEO THE GREAT CATHOLIC SCHOOL
TUITION and FEES (Tentative)

Tuition is based on a 10 month school year (which may be paid in 10 equal installments).  The first payment is due July 10, 2010 and by the 10th of each succeeding month through April 2011. If your first tuition payment is not received by July 20, 2010, your registration and guaranteed class placement is subject to cancellation. This will allow us to notify those on the waiting list.

In-parish rates are based on registration at Saint Leo the Great Catholic Church. Families who are not registered parishioners of Saint Leo the Great, and those of other faiths, are expected to meet the full per pupil cost in accordance with the diocesan guidelines and parish policies. Payments received after the 20th of the month will be considered late and will be assessed a $30.00 late fee.

ADDITIONAL FEES:
The additional fees are paid in full and are due with the first tuition payment July 10, 2010.
KINDERGARTEN FEE $350 per child (Necessary to provide for smaller class size, full time instructional assistants, and additional consumable art supplies)
EDUCATIONAL FEE $350 per child (Provides for the purchase and rental of books, workbooks, paper, art supplies, and playground/lunchroom supervision.)
8th GRADE FEE $175 per child (class activities/Graduating expenses - Due November 1, 2010)
FINANCIAL AID STIPEND $30 per family (As stewardship to assist those families in need who are unable to meet the necessary tuition/fees payments; matched by Saint Leo the Great parish.)
MILK FEE (OPTIONAL) $36.00 per child for the year Milk fee is paid by separate check at the Open House in August, in a separate envelope marked with child/ren(s) name(s), grade; specify white or chocolate. Milk can also be purchased any time during the school year.
PRESCHOOL TUITION:
Preschool tuition is paid monthly starting July 10 (over 9 months)
3 yr. old class Tuesday/Thursday 8:20am-11:20am $195
4 yr. old class Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:20am-11:20am $290
4 yr. old class Monday through Friday 12:00pm-3:00pm $430
(1st Friday of month = no class; 3rd Friday = 1:40pm dismissal)
PRESCHOOL FEES One time activity/supply fee $75 - due with acceptance
EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM
Registration Fee $75 per family
Hourly Rate $6.00 per hour per child Fees cover each hour or part of an hour.

(For the first half hour only of each day, fees are one-half the rate.)
Late Pick-up Fee $25, per family, for each 15 minutes or portion thereof, beyond closing time.

All accounts are due and payable by the 10th of each month. Payments received after the 20th of the month are considered late and are assessed late fees as follows:

  • Total outstanding balance of $50.00 or less = $10.00
  • Total outstanding balance of $100.00 or less = $20.00
  • Total outstanding balance of more than $100.00 = $30.00
