Middle School Supply List

HOMEBASE / GENERAL SCHOOL SUPPLIES
All items must be replenished as necessary throughout the year.

Students must bring a pencil pouch (bank type) to their Core and Encore Classes every day:
The Pencil Pouch must contain the following items:

  • 2-3 - Black or Blue Pens - No other ink colors are acceptable.
  • 2-3 - Red Pens
  • 2-3 Pencils with erasers (Mechanical #2 pencils are preferred)
  • 1 - Highlighter
  • 1 Package of Washable Markers (8 marker pack)
  • 1 - Scissors (small with sharp point)
  • 1 - Glue Stick
  • 1 - 6" Ruler with metric
  • TI-30Xa Calculator (must be this exact model)

4 Packages of lined, 3"x 5" index cards
Loose Leaf Paper (college ruled)
2 Packages of loose leaf graph paper
3 Boxes of Tissues for Home Base
Brown Paper for Book Covers and Contact Paper
No book socks because they are too small to fit the large Middle School books.
They are ruining the spines on the larger textbooks.

LANGUAGE ARTS

  • Mr. Torma's 6th and 7th classes - Notebook and separate folder with loose leaf for assignments
  • Mrs. Cosgriff's 6th, 7th, 8th classes - Notebook and folder with loose leaf
  • Mrs. Sloboda's 8th grade class - 1 inch, 3-Ringed Binder with 3 dividers and loose leaf
  • Cosgriff & Sloboda – 2 – Black or Blue Low Odor Dry Erase Markers and clean, old sock

MATH

  • 1 - Graph paper notebook - MUST BE spiral or composition
  • Loose leaf graph paper (replenish as needed) : Need both the loose leaf and notebook
  • 1/2 inch, Plastic 3 Ringed Binder
  • Dividers for binder
  • 3- Blue or Black Expo Low Odor Dry Erase Marker
  • 1 - Protractor (purchase at school)
  • 1 - Compass (purchase at school)
  • 2 - old, clean socks to clean the student white board

RELIGION

  • 1 - Spiral or composition notebook

SCIENCE

  • 1 inch, 3-ringed binder
  • 1 package looseleaf
  • 1 package dividers for binder
  • 2 – black/white marbled composition books
  • 1 - pocket folder with holes for binder
  • Student’s name and “Science” written on a white label & affixed to the front of           binder/composition books

SOCIAL STUDIES

  • 6th Grade:

    • 1 - Spiral or composition notebook
    • 1 - Pocket Folder with loose leaf (replenish as needed)
  • 7th and 8th Grade:
    • 1 inch, 3 Ringed Binder with loose leaf (replenish as needed)

SPANISH

  • 1 1/2 inch, 3 Ringed Binder

  • Dividers for binder
  • 1 - Pocket folder

ENCORE CLASSES

  • 6th Grade:

    • PURPLE (or BURGUNDY) 2-pocket folder with prong fasteners

    • 1 package of tissues
  • 7th Grade:
    • GREEN 2-pocket folder with prong fasteners
  • 8th Grade:
    • BLUE 2-pocket folder with prong fasteners

Art:

  • Students are required to have a #2 pencil and an eraser in their pencil pouch daily.

Library/Music:

  • In addition to their pencil pouches, students are also expected to have their own supply of college ruled loose-leaf paper.
