It is a custom at St. Leo's for students to donate a book to the
Library in honor of their birthday. Please consult with us prior to
selecting a birthday book so that we can ensure that the library does
not already own the book. A book plate is placed in the donated book
with the child's name. The donation is also announced in the weekly St.
Leo's Newsletter.

Every year replacements are needed for books that become worn out. Donations are welcome for this purpose..

|
New sets of Reference Materials are needed in the library to replace
outdated sets.
Our "World Book Encyclopedia" set is 5 years old. We are also in need
of a set of World Atlases. Please see Mrs. Craven if you would
like to donate funds to help cover the expense of these sets.

|
Donations of recently published, preferably hardcover, children's
books in good shape are graciously accepted, with the understanding that
the final determination regarding adding the book to the collection
remains with the school librarian.

If you prefer, the library will be happy to accept gift cards in any
amount from Borders, Barnes and Noble, and Amazon.
